Asturias is first and foremost an extremely varied geography. From the green coast stretching from Gijón to Cabo Peñas, to the foothills of the Picos de Europa that line the southern horizon, to the interior valleys and small stone villages in between. This diversity makes the region an exceptional playground for portraiture: each change of scenery brings different light.
Asturias' Atlantic climate plays an important role. Mild, humid, changeable — this humidity softens the light and creates those moments when sea mist mingles with sunlight, giving portraits a special atmosphere. When the sun breaks through the clouds, the resulting light is one of the most flattering for outdoor portraits.

Do you travel to Gijón or Avilés?
Yes, I travel throughout Asturias. Gijón and Avilés are 25-30 minutes from Oviedo — no supplement within this range. More distant towns or the coast (Cabo Peñas, Llanes, Lastres) incur a travel supplement that I communicate before booking.
Is there a supplement for sessions outside Oviedo?
Oviedo and 20 km around are included with no supplement. Beyond that, a travel supplement applies — always communicated in advance, no surprises. Remote locations like the Picos de Europa or the eastern coast are possible with the Experience tier.
What if it rains during a coastal session?
Light rain or drizzle is not a problem — it is part of the Asturias climate and creates a special atmosphere. In case of heavy rain, we reschedule at no charge. The grey Atlantic sky actually produces excellent portraits: the light is diffuse and flattering.
Can we combine coast and mountains in one session?
With the Experience tier (3 hours), it is possible — the coast and the foothills of the Picos de Europa are 45 minutes apart. Planning is needed in advance, but the contrast of light between the two environments in a single session produces unique results.
